Green Ginger Ale juice

This was actually pretty good. I got the original recipe here.

I used the following items:
3 green apples, cored
2 leaves of romaine lettuce
2 mini cucumbers
1″ peeled ginger root
Half a lemon

It was sweet enough for me, and I can have a sweet tooth sometimes. my husband drank a cup because he was feeling ill, and said he saw immediate detoxing/cleansing effects. So hey, whatever works! I didn’t see the same effects he did. But I have been running to the restroom a bit more often than usual ever since I started juicing.

Homemade burger recipe

Craving burgers but having the self control to NOT run to the nearest fast food joint is hard. Hard, but not impossible. I’m trying to wean my family off of proccessed, unhealthy foods. I talk more about the challenge here.

Homemade Burgers:

Ingredient:
2 lbs 93% lean ground beef
Half a bunch parsley
One jalepeno
One onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp mixed spice

Burger buns ( I used whole grain wheat)
Burger toppings: tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles, ketchup, mayo, cheese, etc… Whatever u like.

In food processor: add parsley, pepper, onion and garlic. Chop til fine.

Add to ground beef in large bowl. Add spices. Mix well

Make into patty shapes. Grill and serve as you like it 🙂
